6.14.19 | Documentary Family Photography

I love being able to capture more and more outside for my #documentfamilyfriday series! These were taken mostly on our property, with a couple made today at the Kensington Metropark Nature Center. I wish the weather could be exactly like today every day of the year.  Warm but not too hot, cool breeze, bright and sunny… Yay for grilling season!

The little fawn featured below spent around 2.5 days cuddled up against the front of our house over this past week.  We haven’t seen it since yesterday so I’m hoping it’s been reunited with its mother. I had to laugh the other day when I was standing on the porch, and all I could hear was alternating yelling of “Mommm!” back and forth between Owen the fawn. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect.  Different species, same familiar behavior!
