Updos & Lace: a Bridal Themed Test Shoot

Here’s a look at the bridal inspired test shoot that I did last October with my friend and stylist, Lauren. I’ve been seeing her over at Salon Sparrow for a while now and she’s taken great care of me from simple hair cuts to encouraging me to go for fun peek-a-boo pink locks! She’s also been extremely supportive of me and my recent leap to do photography full time.  If you’re in the area and looking for a hair stylist or makeup artist, definitely go see her! She’s fantastic!

After brainstorming ideas for our first shoot, we decided to go with something we could whip together fairly easily… with me being seven months pregnant and all.  We made a plan to meet at my RI studio along with two of her close friends.  I dug out my own wedding dress, she pulled a bridesmaid dress from her wardrobe, and along with a few others, we had ourselves a little bridal themed shoot! It was such a fun, laid back day.  I can’t wait to do it again soon!
